CDFI Friendly America helps diagnose these barriers through research, data assessment, and engaging with and learning from community leaders and others. This outreach increases our understanding so we can provide a customized plan to attract more CDFIs to finance the under-resourced borrowers in your city.
Almost every city needs CDFIs to provide patient, flexible financing for small businesses, affordable housing, and vital community facilities such as child care and the arts. At the same time, every community has barriers that limit access to CDFIs.
